Job Summary
Events Management Associate on the Commercial Banking event strategy team supports strategy, planning, and execution of Specialized Industries and select Core proprietary events and third-party sponsorships. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects with a focus on data analysis, event coordination, and content development; collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful experiences for clients and partners; assisting with logistics, attendee management, and on-site execution; supporting speaker selection and preparation; developing and executing event collateral and recaps; collecting and validating event data; updating budgets, securing approvals, documenting variances, and processing payments; analyzing RSVP trends and engagement metrics to inform strategy; participating in annual planning and contributing to scorecards; and supporting ad hoc projects and cross-team initiatives. Preferred familiarity with Workfront and/or Stova; banking/financial services background is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in event management, marketing, or communications
- Willingness to travel ~15-20% and to execute events off-hours
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Executive presence and professionalism when interacting with senior leaders and clients
- Strong time management and ability to execute deliverables in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
