Job Summary
Intern will assist in planning and executing Decathlon Singapore's event strategy to create engaging sports experiences, help drive store traffic and brand visibility, and support partnerships and community engagement. Responsibilities include planning and managing flagship events from concept to execution, coordinating with external stakeholders (sports clubs, sponsors, vendors), collaborating with retail and marketing teams to promote initiatives, handling end-to-end event logistics (venue setups, permits, safety protocols), and assisting on-site execution. Ideal candidates are undergraduates in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration with an interest in event promotion and digital marketing, familiar with Singapore's retail and sports ecosystem, and possess proactive, collaborative, user-focused, and resilient teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
- Marketing Interest: Basic understanding of event promotion, digital marketing, and community engagement strategies
- Local Knowledge: Familiar with the local retail / sport / social media landscape
- Soft Skills: Passion for Sports, User-Obsessed, Proactive & Resilient, Strong Team Player
