Job Summary
Events Executive responsible for overseeing banquet operations, ensuring guests are served according to Marriott standards. Duties include inspecting staff grooming and attire, coordinating with guests and departments, arranging and maintaining banquet setups, documenting information in department logs, assisting management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching employees, fostering positive teamwork, upholding safety and security policies, ensuring professional attire and confidentiality, delivering courteous guest service, and meeting quality standards throughout long shifts while handling objects up to 50 pounds (and with assistance for heavier items). Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience, and at least one year of supervisory experience.
