Job Summary
Oversee banquet event operations and guest services: ensure staff grooming and attire meet standards, communicate with guests and departments to fulfill needs, execute special banquet arrangements, set up banquet areas and ensure cleanliness and proper furniture/equipment setup, inspect and maintain table settings, and document pertinent information in department logs. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating staff; develop positive working relationships to reach team goals; ensure adherence to safety and security policies, protect assets, and maintain confidentiality of information. Welcome guests professionally, accommodate guests with disabilities, practice clear communication and appropriate etiquette, and use proper phone etiquette. Ability to stand or move for extended periods and perform required physical tasks. Follow all policies and procedures and participate in safety training and certifications. Education and supervisory requirements include a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of related and supervisory experience. Location is Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
