Job Summary
Greet corporate guests upon arrival and deliver high-standard service from canapé receptions through to dinner service. Manage bar operations, operate tills with effective cash handling, and efficiently deliver food and beverages to tables. Clear down events correctly per team instructions while addressing general enquiries and customer service issues. Maintain safe food hygiene practices and adhere to all health and safety procedures, including fire and evacuation protocols. Work weekends during December for Christmas parties on a zero-hours contract at £13.55 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or above
- Proven experience within a customer-focused environment
- Experience of working within a waiting / bar staff role
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible, adaptable and willing attitude towards work
- Smart personal appearance
- Passion for delivering high quality events
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently within a busy environment
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with customers, other staff members/teams plus agency staff
- Reliable, with a responsible and positive attitude towards work
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and an understanding of the needs of the customers by building a rapport
- Ability to comply with manual handling safety procedures
