Events Coordinator- Second Shift

Job Summary
Coordinate events and conferences for the University of Bridgeport by assisting with planning, managing contracts, and communicating with internal vendors and external clients. Maintain records, schedules, and inventory while tracking invoices and updating the 25Live Events platform and HubSpot to prevent double bookings. Provide on-site hands-on assistance, catering support, and logistics coordination for artwork delivery and storage during exhibitions. Manage gallery calendars and social media promotion while ensuring safe return of materials. Work Wednesdays through Sundays from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. in a fast-paced environment requiring physical stamina and the ability to lift materials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience required
- 1-2+ years of experience
- Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Effective organizational, oral/written communication, client management and project management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Must be flexible, energetic, diplomatic, detail oriented, and able to work independently
- The incumbent should be self-motivated and comfortable in taking initiative
- Ability to lift and move set-up and event décor and materials as required
- Must be flexible and adaptable to change
- CT Driver's license and insured vehicle
