Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and deliver Carols by Candlelight in Geelong from concept to completion, working with the event committee, YMCA staff, City of Greater Geelong events team, artists, vendors, sponsors, and volunteers to create a safe, engaging Christmas celebration that raises funds for YMCA youth programs; lead and collaborate with partners to evolve the event with creativity and community impact while upholding YMCA values and ensuring strong partnerships, leadership, and positive outcomes for the community.
Required Qualifications
- First Aid – HLTAID011 (current; renewed every 3 years)
- CPR – HLTAID009 (current; renewed annually)
- national criminal history check
- international criminal history checks where applicants have worked overseas
- holding or obtaining a valid Working with Children Card
- Three reference checks
