Job Summary
Athletics Operations Specialist 3 level Events Coordinator directs team scheduling and maintenance for Sun Devil Athletics events, ensures compliance with NCAA and conference rules, manages event budgets, coordinates staffing and rentals, and serves as a liaison for facility use and client relations. Responsibilities include game management for assigned events, coordinating event management meetings, managing budgets and payroll processes for staff, coordinating with rentals and external stakeholders, providing information to faculty, staff and outside organizations, maintaining inventory of equipment, and supervising event staff and student workers. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, strong organizational and communication skills, budget management ability, staff supervision, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and SDA/ASU software tools. The position involves on-site event operations, occasional outdoor work, and extended hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with driving possibly required.
