Job Summary
Coordinate athletic, activity, and intramural programs by scheduling facilities, supervising events, and managing equipment lending to community entities and other districts. Prepare the annual and monthly activities calendar, compile W.H.S.A.A. reports, and maintain records of letter winners and award recipients. Assist the building principal in reviewing programs, setting tournament schedules, and recommending administrative guidelines or facility repairs. Act as a consultant on school matters and coordinate efforts with the parent booster club. Work steady shifts of up to 14 hours in a high-stress environment, tolerating heat, humidity, and noise, while managing athletic facilities for sports including volleyball, football, basketball, wrestling, cross country, golf, and track.
Required Qualifications
- Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries course
- Knowledge of CPR and First Aid
- Working knowledge of competitive athletics and tournament management
- Ability to manage and motivate people
- Ability to manage athletic facilities and equipment
- Possess all certificates required for the State of Wyoming
- Coaching and teaching experience
- Must be a certified employee of Campbell County School District
- Ability to stand at least 12 hours
- Ability to work steady for up to 14 hours
- Occupationally exposed to bloodborne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials based on task and procedures required
- Tolerate heat and humidity
- Tolerate wet and cold
- Tolerate high levels of noise
- Tolerate high levels of stress
