Job Summary
On-call per diem Events Associate to support Covenant House New Jersey’s fundraising and community engagement events. Responsibilities include on-site staffing, registration and guest flow, hospitality, setup and breakdown, troubleshooting, staff/volunteers/participants support, overnight Sleep Out events, pre-event logistics, inventory and material organization, nametags and event kits preparation, volunteer coordination, and youth/alumni speaker support, in coordination with CHNJ staff. Must be reliable with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, able to work evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts, and possess a valid driver’s license. Multiple per-diems available in the Newark, NJ and Atlantic City, NJ areas. Hourly rate $18.71.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in events, hospitality, nonprofit programs, customer service, community engagement, or a related field preferred.
