Events and Ministry Coordinator (Onsite, Volunteer)

Job Summary
Plan and host two monthly events for residents to foster connection and community engagement. Develop marketing materials including calendars, flyers, and social media posts to enhance the online reputation. Manage the event budget process and prepare monthly summaries while meeting with staff for planning. Visit new and departing residents to offer personal connection and support. Engage a network of volunteers, vendors, and community partners to maximize impact. This volunteer role offers significantly reduced housing costs through the Apartment Life program, requiring weekly availability mainly in evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements for the community and required reports for the property management company
- Current driver's license and liability insurance
- Access to a form of reliable transportation to complete coordinator duties such as shopping for events and connecting with vendors
- Physical ability to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds
- Availability to commit weekly hours to perform job responsibilities, mainly in the evenings and weekends when most residents are home
- Ability to make the minimum term commitment to serving in the apartment community
Desired Qualifications
