Job Summary
Plan and host one event each month for residents in the apartment community, fostering connection and care; develop marketing materials (monthly calendars, event flyers, social media posts); manage the event budget and prepare monthly summaries; collaborate with staff, volunteers, vendors, and community partners; invite residents to share online about their experience to enhance online reputation; deliver acts of genuine care and radical hospitality while weaving business excellence with ministry to impact residents’ lives; roles involve coordinating with the property management team and engaging a network of supporters to maximize impact.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Have basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements for the community and required reports for the property management company
- Possess a current driver's license and liability insurance, and access to a form of reliable transportation to complete coordinator duties such as shopping for events and connecting with vendors
- Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds
- Have the availability to commit weekly hours to perform job responsibilities, mainly in the evenings and weekends when most residents are home
- Be able to make the minimum term commitment to serving in the apartment community
