Job Summary
Events and Ministry Coordinators create an engaging Apartment Life experience, planning and hosting two resident events per month, coordinating volunteers and vendors, developing marketing materials, managing budgets, and delivering hospitality and connection-driven programming in a Louisville apartment community. The role focuses on relational engagement, community care, and fostering connections between residents and local services while integrating ministry with business processes. Must be 18+, legally eligible to work in the U.S., fluent in English, have reliable transportation, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work primarily in evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Have basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements for the community and required reports for the property management company
- Possess a current driver's license and liability insurance, and access to a form of reliable transportation to complete coordinator duties such as shopping for events and connecting with vendors
- Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds
- Have the availability to commit weekly hours to perform job responsibilities, mainly in the evenings and weekends when most residents are home
- Be able to make the minimum term commitment to serving in the apartment community
- Previous event planning experience (Preferred)
- Experience working within a budget (Preferred)
- Some relevant experience using social media (Preferred)
- Have a network of support through potential volunteers, vendors, or community partners (Preferred)
