Events and Ministry Coordinator (Offsite, Part-Time)

Job Summary
Role focuses on executing the service plan for Apartment Life by organizing and delivering resident-focused programs. Responsible for planning and hosting 3-4 events/workshops monthly to promote social engagement, wellness, health, enrichment, and stability. Works with an Apartment Life supervisor to prepare monthly schedules, coordinates with community businesses, partners with corporate/government/nonprofit entities to tailor programs per community, and maintains resources lists for rent/food assistance and other needs. Requires after-hours and weekend availability, strong communication with onsite staff and residents, monthly reporting of activities and impact, and collaboration to ensure smooth operation of all activities. The role also involves organizing educational workshops for adults and youth, connecting residents with local resources, and managing vendor relations within the community.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Bachelor's Degree or related experience in event planning, social impact, or human services
- Excellent listening/communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to provide after-hours or weekend activities as needed
- Basic computer skills
- Basic fluency in English to compose marketing elements for the community and required reports
- Possess a current driver's license and liability insurance, and access to a form of reliable transportation to complete duties
- Be physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and carry up to 25 pounds
- Have the availability to commit weekly hours to perform job responsibilities, mainly in the evenings and weekends when most residents are home
- Be able to make the minimum term commitment to serving in the apartment community
