Job Summary
Event Worker at City of Elk River's Furniture and Things Community Event Center. Responsibilities include preparing and selling concession items, preparing and serving catering items, handling money and making change, maintaining cleanliness and security of the concession area, ensuring legal liquor sales and service, and providing polite, professional customer service at catered events. Must be able to work evenings and weekends (4:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.), be at least 18, and have experience handling money and interacting with the public; experience with alcohol sales is a plus. Regular and timely attendance, adherence to safety and alcohol service policies, and potential lead responsibilities in the absence of the Concessions Supervisor are included.
