Job Summary
The Event Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and striking audio/video/lighting/IT equipment for various events at the Kaseya Center. Key responsibilities include managing audio-visual requirements, operating equipment during events, performing pre-event checks, and troubleshooting production equipment. Candidates should have strong technical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the capacity to work independently. A high school diploma and technical experience in the A/V or Broadcast Industry are required, along with strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Technical experience in all aspects of electrical, lighting, video systems, live sound reinforcement, theatrical rigging, and stage management
- Ability to work and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in newly acquired skills in short order
- Ability to adapt to dynamic scheduling needs
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the professional A/V or Broadcast Industry preferred
- Basic level proficiency in A/V systems, broadcast and theatre lighting technologies
