Job Summary
Setup, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawlessly executed events while monitoring guest needs and troubleshooting technical issues. Meet clients on-site to confirm equipment functionality, foster hotel relationships, and utilize floor up-selling techniques to increase revenue. Complete accurate systems entry, paperwork, and order entries in Navigator, interacting with staff and vendors for equipment logistics. Work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays with on-call status in a hotel environment, adhering to physical demands for lifting and prolonged standing.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to meet the physical demands outlined below to successfully perform the essential job functions
- Must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore
- Must be able to work in multiple hotel locations
- Must be able to work irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience
- 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment
