Job Summary
Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawlessly executed events while maintaining positive relationships with internal and external guests. Monitor events throughout the day, troubleshoot equipment and software issues, and utilize floor up-selling techniques to increase revenue. Complete systems entry, paperwork, and order entries in Navigator, and work with clients to finalize invoices. This part-time role involves irregular hours, on-call status including weekends and holidays, and requires the ability to lift up to 100 lbs frequently.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications required for this position within 60 days of start date
- Must meet all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore's Global Learning Training Program
- Must be able to meet the physical demands outlined in the Physical Requirements section
- Must be able to meet the Lifting Requirements section
- Must be able to meet the Carrying Requirements section
- Must be able to meet the Auditory/Visual Requirements section
- Must be able to meet the Pushing/Pulling Requirements section
- Must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience
- 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment
