Job Summary
Setup, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless event execution while troubleshooting technical issues and fostering client relationships. Monitor events throughout the day, meet guests on-site to verify equipment functionality, and handle equipment challenges professionally. Complete systems entry and paperwork accurately, utilize floor up-selling techniques to increase revenue, and finalize invoices with clients. Work in a hotel environment with irregular hours, on-call status, and moderate physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for four to five hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications required for this position, within 60 days of start date
- Must meet Additional DOT requirements if applicable
- Must be able to meet the physical demands outlined in the Physical Requirements section
- Must be able to meet the Lifting Requirements
- Must be able to meet the Carrying Requirements
- Must be able to meet the Auditory/Visual Requirements
- Must be able to meet the Pushing/Pulling Requirements
- Must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience
- 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment
