Job Summary
Setup, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment for events in a hospitality environment while ensuring flawless execution and customer satisfaction. Monitor events throughout the day, troubleshoot equipment and software issues, and meet with guests on site to verify setup. Maintain positive client relationships, follow company procedures for systems entry and paperwork, and utilize floor up-selling techniques to increase revenue. Collaborate with clients to finalize invoices and interact with staff and vendors regarding equipment schedules. Work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays with on-call status in hotel or convention center locations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications required for this position, within 60 days of start date
- Must meet Additional DOT requirements if applicable
- Must be able to meet the physical demands outlined in the Physical Requirements section
- Must be able to meet the Lifting Requirements
- Must be able to meet the Carrying Requirements
- Must be able to meet the Auditory/Visual Requirements
- Must be able to meet the Pushing/Pulling Requirements
- Must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience
- 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment
