Job Summary
The Event Technician is responsible for setting up and operating basic audiovisual systems within a hospitality environment while ensuring customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include accurate equipment setup, effective communication with clients, monitoring of events, troubleshooting technical issues, and completing necessary paperwork. Required skills include operational knowledge of audiovisual equipment, customer service proficiency, and the ability to meet physical demands of the role such as lifting and carrying equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Internal and external training and certification requirements as specified
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred
