Job Summary
Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless event execution while troubleshooting software and hardware issues on-site. Meet guests directly to confirm equipment functionality, monitor events throughout the day, and foster positive relationships with internal and external clients. Complete systems entry, paperwork, and order entries in Navigator, utilizing floor up-selling techniques to increase revenue and finalize invoices. Work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays with an on-call rotation in a hotel environment, adhering to physical lifting and movement requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications required for this position, within 60 days of start date
- Must meet Additional DOT requirements if applicable
- Must be able to meet the physical demands outlined below to successfully perform the essential job functions
- Must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore
- Must be able to work in multiple hotel locations
- Must be available for irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience
- 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment
