Job Summary
Setup, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawlessly executed events while troubleshooting technical issues and fostering client relationships. Monitor events throughout the day, meet guests on-site to verify equipment functionality, and maintain positive interactions with internal and external customers. Complete systems entry, paperwork, and order entries in Navigator, utilizing floor up-selling techniques to increase revenue and finalizing invoices with clients. Work in a hotel environment with irregular hours, on-call status, and moderate physical demands involving lifting and standing.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications required for this position, within 60 days of start date
- Must meet Additional DOT requirements if applicable
- Must be able to meet the physical demands outlined below to successfully perform the essential job functions
- Must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based on an individual hotel or a representation of hotels in that city or area
- Must be able to meet the physical demands above in order to successfully perform the essential job functions
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience
- 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment
