Job Summary
Set up and operate basic audiovisual equipment in a hospitality setting to ensure flawless events, while delivering excellent customer service. Communicate with guests and hotel staff on-site, troubleshoot equipment, manage equipment sheets and invoicing with clients, and support revenue through up-selling. Must meet training and certification requirements within 60 days, hold a valid driver’s license, and handle physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. Work environment is hotel/convention center with irregular hours and potential travel to multiple hotel locations. The role requires technical aptitude, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills to maintain client relationships and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Associate’s degree preferred
- 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience
- 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and meet physical requirements
