Job Summary
The Event Technical Specialist is accountable for the technical setup and operation of enhanced mid-level production events in a hospitality setting, emphasizing client satisfaction. Key responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely setup, troubleshooting technical issues, providing excellent customer service, supervising other technicians, and maintaining equipment inventory and security. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of experience in event technology, particularly in Audio, Projection, or Video, alongside strong customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- 3+ years of event technology experience with specialty in Audio, Projection, or Video is required
- Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s Global Learning Training Program
- External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications required for this position within 60 days of start date
- A valid driver’s license is required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- 3-4 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with a diverse workforce
- Strong customer, client and coworker interface experience and abilities
