Job Summary
Provide technical support during events at MSE facilities, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Maintain the technical integrity of computer systems, network devices, and broadcast/arena A/V systems while handling Tier 1 Help Desk responsibilities. Document all issues, problem-solving steps, and resolutions in a ticketing system. Test, maintain, and fabricate cables, adapters, and small part modifications as needed. Image and install operating systems, service packs, security patches, and bug fixes. Build, update, and develop Standard Operating Procedure guides for training and workflow management.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a live event environment or as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role
- Working knowledge of computer software/hardware, Windows/Mac operating systems, mobile devices, and network switches/hubs and cabling
- Understanding of broadcast signal flow in a television broadcast environment; inclusive of video routers, video switchers, broadcast cameras, RF infrastructure
- Solid grasp of office automation products and computer peripherals including printers and scanners
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, make quick decisions, and respond to the demands of live games and events
- Ability to carry up to 50 lbs and work in small environments
