Job Summary
Guide guests efficiently through the attraction, keeping lines moving and minimizing wait times while directing visitors to designated areas and implementing crowd management strategies. Deliver friendly, professional assistance by answering questions, providing clear instructions on the haunt's layout, and resolving concerns promptly with empathy. Play a hands-on role in event setup and teardown, maintaining a clean, organized environment where props, décor, and effects function correctly. Stay alert for safety hazards, report them immediately, and assist security personnel in maintaining a secure environment while responding calmly to emergency situations. Collaborate with actors and managers to coordinate crowd movements and share updates to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older at time of hire
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (employment eligibility verified through E-Verify)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the event season—non-negotiable
- Comfortable in dark, loud, high-energy environments with strobe effects, fog, and close guest interaction
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset
- Ability to stay calm and focused in fast-paced, high-volume situations
