Job Summary
Provide excellent food and beverage service for events while assisting with set-up of bars, including linens and glassware. Uphold the highest level of customer service by exhibiting a friendly attitude toward guests and staff, maintaining clear communication with all team members. Follow directions from Event Captains, adhere to Health and Safety practices, and complete other duties as assigned. This role supports the Peace Center's major performing arts events across multiple venues, including the Concert Hall, Gunter Theatre, and new 2025 openings, requiring flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
- Positive and professional attitude
- Ability to interact with diverse groups in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must be teamwork oriented and work well within the team
- Routinely lifts and carries up to 30 lbs
- Frequently pushing and/or pulling of items up to 30 lbs
- Occasionally lifting items up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Constantly moving throughout the event space while carrying items
- Available to work a flexible or irregular schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of food and beverage service preferred
