Job Summary
Event Sr. Technical Lead in Indianapolis, IN responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and coordinating advanced audiovisual equipment for hotel/convention center events, supervising technicians, mentoring staff, and ensuring security and safety. Reports to an Operations Manager, Director of Operations or DET. Primary duties include accurate setup, operation, breakdown of AV gear, delivering exceptional customer service, collaborating with internal teams to optimize event solutions, and fostering technical and leadership development. Requires 2+ years of field experience in the specialty area, customer service or hospitality experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a valid driver’s license; external applicants must complete all required training and certifications within 60 days of start date. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Competencies emphasize hospitality, ownership, accountability, decision quality, and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of field experience in specialty area is required
- A valid driver’s license is required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
