Job Summary
Conduct flawlessly executed events through accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of advanced audiovisual equipment while troubleshooting technical issues as they arise. Supervise and direct other technicians during events, performing advanced pre/during/post event work with operations team members. Ensure equipment security, storage, and maintenance; manage inventory and forecasting of equipment needs. Provide mentorship and coaching to technical, sales, and operations team members to develop technical and leadership skills. Deliver world-class service by fostering strong relationships with internal and external clients to ensure satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of field experience in specialty area
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to meet the physical demands outlined below to successfully perform the essential job functions
- Must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based on an individual hotel or a representation of hotels in that city or area
- Must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in a warehouse environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area
- Must be able to meet the physical demands above in order to successfully perform the essential job functions
- Must be able to interact professionally and effectively with a diverse work force, customer base and senior level management
- Strong customer, client and coworker interface experience and abilities
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be able to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly
- Must be able to ensure equipment is secure from theft and/or damage
- Must be able to comply with all Company security and safety measures
- Must be able to perform advanced work (pre/during/post event) with operations team members
- Must be able to supervise and direct other technicians during an event
- Must be able to assist team with proper security, storage, transportation, and maintenance of equipment
- Must be able to perform inventory and forecasting of equipment needs
- Must be able to provide excellent service and strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers
- Must be able to maintain a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication
- Must be able to collaborate with internal team on event solutions pre-event and during event to ensure the best possible customer satisfaction
- Must be able to understand and foster the hotel/client relationship
- Must be able to create an atmosphere that fosters the development of technical and leadership skills in other employees
