Job Summary
Event Sponsorship Sales Manager responsible for securing partnerships and sponsorships for Cannonball’s food and beverage events. Responsibilities include creating pitch decks, managing budgets, drafting contracts and vendor forms, researching potential partners, outreach to agencies and brands, attending meetings, CRM input, creating automated email campaigns, and developing custom proposals. The role involves sponsor fulfillment, coordinating on-site needs, post-event recaps, maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with marketing and production teams. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of business development/sales experience, strong relationship management skills, ability to work independently and remotely, proficiency in communicating with senior executives, and a solid foundation in marketing principles; travel and event-day participation are expected as part of the job.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years experience in business development and/or sales
- Experience in client relationships and management
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to independently research and prospect using a variety of techniques including online research and face-to-face networking
- Comfort in developing and selling creative, abstract ideas to senior executives
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of core marketing principles
