Job Summary
Assist guests with wine, sake, and champagne selection by considering their taste and budget while guiding them through the menu. Provide information regarding venues, menus, and pricing, and explain how wine pairings complement food and dessert items. Ensure all beverages are presented and served correctly, adhering to company standards and Department of Health regulations. Inform guests of alternative selections if their chosen items are unavailable and deliver engaged, friendly customer service. Work nights, weekends, and holidays with a guest-first mindset, maintaining a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Sommelier in an upscale, high volume restaurant
- Availability to work nights, weekends & holidays
