Job Summary
Set up tables, chairs, staging, and dance floors according to room diagrams and event resumes, then tear down equipment and supplies after events conclude. Maintain cleanliness in event spaces, hallways, and storage areas by emptying trash, operating cleaning equipment, and keeping corridors unobstructed. Read and understand room diagrams and event resumes to configure spaces correctly, while interacting with staff and event planners to respond quickly to requests. Work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays under direct supervision from an Event Services Supervisor. Previous experience with event changovers is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent GED
- able to read and understand room diagrams and event resumes
- available to work flexible hours and days including early morning, days, evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays
- able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with event changovers/setup
