Job Summary
Event Servicing & Operations Manager responsible for overseeing planning, servicing, and execution of events across Rockefeller Center Venues. Serve as the primary operational lead coordinating clients, vendors, building operations, security, facilities, and event staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences while upholding safety, compliance, and service standards. Manage events from initial planning through onsite delivery, foster client relationships, support revenue generation, and ensure profitable, high-quality event experiences. Responsibilities include: on-site event operations and execution, pre-event planning, run-of-show development, staffing plans, vendor coordination, facility and risk management, safety planning, budget oversight, and leadership of event teams. Requires ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and to stand/walk for extended periods; 60+ story high-rise environment experience is noted. Base range for NY team is $75,000–$88,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in event operations, venue management, hospitality, or related fields
- Proven experience managing complex events and multiple stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
