Event Services Supervisor - Audio Visual, Event Technology

Job Summary
Supervise floor operations for set-up, removal, and technology equipment in hotel environments while delivering unmatched customer service. Ensure all shifts receive clear daily expectations and complete log information, then greet guests and clients to provide clear equipment instructions. Manage non-union, union, and contract labor to meet standards, maintain accurate inventory, and enforce security and safety measures. Report any lost or damaged equipment immediately and maintain client event information in the billing system. Review invoices with clients, obtain signatures, and enhance event experiences through continuous communication. Continually update technical skills and ensure occupied areas remain clean and organized.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) to three (3) year's prior experience in the audio visual and/or hospitality industry
- Two (2) years' advanced audio and visual experience in a theatrical or live event environment
- Computer proficiency
- Strong technical aptitude
- Planning ability; able to plan ahead and prioritize
- Excellent organizations skills
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Strong verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Strong customer focus
- Strong team player orientation
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
