Event Services Manager

Job Summary
Serve as the primary point of contact for event clients from contract signing through completion, ensuring seamless execution of room blocks, weddings, and corporate gatherings. Maintain open communication to address inquiries and last-minute changes, then collaborate with guest services, reservations, housekeeping, audio-visual, catering, accounting, and engineering departments. Manage the function book to maximize revenue, work with the Food & F beverage team to propose upscale menus, and oversee setups while providing on-site support. Review rooming lists, VIP lists, and event orders, maintain detailed records in Salesforce/Delphi, and follow up post-event to solicit feedback. Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to uphold the hotel's reputation as a premier luxury destination.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in event management within a hotel setting
- Strong proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales software (Salesforce/Delphi and SocialTables)
- Knowledge of food and beverage service, health department regulations, and liquor laws
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to event planning and execution
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Event Management, or a related field is a plus
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification is a plus
