Job Summary
Event Services Floor Coordinator handles on-site event operations on the conference floor, coordinating with Event Managers and planners to review event details, food orders, décor, rentals and staffing; facilitates visitor flow and crowd control; resolves visitor concerns; ensures quality standards for food, beverages, services, facilities and client satisfaction; provides guidance to staff to ensure smooth operation and positive client experience; assists during emergencies or evacuations; performs administrative tasks; available for weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- Experience coordinating events in large cultural, convention or entertainment facility
- Knowledge of crowd management and security practices
- Knowledge of Windows, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to lead and direct others
- Ability to meet and work successfully with customers
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management
- Experience coordinating events in cultural/convention/entertainment facilities
