Job Summary
Supervise day-to-day event operations and staffing at assigned client sites, managing teams of supervisors and front-line crew through hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, and performance management. Build and maintain relationships with clients and employees while coordinating support services to meet financial and operational goals. Handle escalated security issues, enforce company policies, and ensure full compliance with labor laws and reporting requirements. Utilize ABI and WinTeam for scheduling, billing, and report generation to drive effective business management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of event management, event operations, and/or event supervisory experience
- Experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality staff
- Ability to develop and grow customer relationships
- Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment with the ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and client requirements on an ongoing basis
- Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment while having an entrepreneurial attitude
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
- Highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology
- Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
- Must be able to work nights/evenings/holidays as needed with a flexible schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Facilities management, military, or law enforcement experience
- Previous payroll, billing, and scheduling experience
