Job Summary
Load and unload catering equipment, set up event spaces including tables, linens, and décor, and serve food and beverages with a focus on presentation and timing. Assist chefs at action stations, anticipate guest needs, and maintain clean, organized service areas while ensuring all health and safety standards are upheld. Break down setups, handle equipment safely, and communicate respectfully with guests and team members throughout the event. This role requires a food handler's certification, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and availability for flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in English
- Must maintain a food handler's certification
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods (up to 5 hours)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to move event equipment as directed by the event manager
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and short-notice events

- Previous catering, restaurant, or hospitality experience
