Job Summary
Lead and manage a security team by conducting briefings, coordinating deployment changes, and overseeing scheduling and performance management. Perform daily security operations including patrols, access control, emergency response, and incident reporting while ensuring strict compliance with client and company policies. Manage team resources, enforce rest breaks, and address cross-departmental employee concerns. Operate on a 24/7 rotation from September 20, 2026, through October 1, 2026, at an hourly rate of $35.00 to $37.50. This temporary role supports Surefox's mission to provide professional security guarding services across the Bay Area.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible for employment within the United States
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening
- Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate
- Must have a current BSIS guard card or be eligible to qualify for a guard card
- Must have a high school degree or equivalent
- Must have a current CPR & First Aid certification or be eligible to qualify for a certification
- Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Monday through Sunday 24/7 coverage
Desired Qualifications
- Military background
- Security or law enforcement experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office & G-Suite Applications
- Report writing experience
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
