Job Summary
Oversee staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for event services staff while ensuring contract compliance and maintaining minimal overtime. Manage logistics operations including equipment supply, radio management, and root cause analysis, plus drive company vehicles to transport gear to work sites. Coordinate branch-level scheduling, approve vendor invoices, and handle emergency notifications and incident reports per site orders. Allow venue entry, verify badges, and direct traffic while maintaining confidentiality and attending staff meetings.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service or security work experience in a leadership role
- Active CA Guard Card
- Excellent organizational skills that include the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Strong consultative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with leadership
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Able to concentrate on details, work under deadline pressures, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
- Able to focus and multi-task in a busy environment, with the ability to successfully handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
- Includes being able to effectively manage multiple interactions with diverse personalities and engage them to perform at optimum levels
- Must be highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology
- Ensure each position/event is scheduled with a qualified licensed employee
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Education, Business, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, Security Management, or a closely related field
- Prior human resources, recruiting, scheduling or logistics experience in a service industry business
- Work experience conducting applicant sourcing, interviewing job applicants, and conducting employee onboarding in a high-volume setting
