Job Summary
Conduct bag inspections and attendee screening using magnetometers, verify tickets and credentials, and monitor crowd movement to maintain a safe environment at stadiums, theaters, and convention centers. Enforce venue policies, de-escalate conflicts, respond to medical incidents and emergencies, patrol perimeters, and monitor CCTV systems for suspicious activity. Complete accurate incident reports and communicate effectively with supervisors. Requires a valid California BSIS Guard Card, two years of security experience, and ability to work day, swing, or graveyard shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card
- Ability to pass a background investigation, including California Live Scan fingerprinting
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of an 8-hour shift
- Ability to regularly climb stairs
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of security experience
- event security experience
- Ability to work assigned day, swing, or graveyard shifts, including overtime when needed
