Job Summary
Conduct security patrols in assigned areas to deter suspicious activity and monitor entrances and exits. Verify credentials for access control operations and assist clients' employees to maintain a safe environment. Respond immediately to medical and non-medical emergencies while documenting incidents for detailed reports. Operate on foot for long periods, maintaining high attentiveness during 8-12 hour shifts from 9/20/26 to 10/1/26. This temporary role supports a top client near North San Francisco and offers potential long-term employment opportunities after the event.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible for employment within the United States
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines
- Must have a current BSIS guard card
- Must have or be in the process of attaining a CPR/AED & First-Aid certification from a recognized certification authority
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening
- Must be customer service oriented and have the ability to communicate in a professional and respectful manner with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
- Must have good judgment skills with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Must be able and willing to understand and follow written and verbal instructions as given by supervisory and managerial personnel
- Must have the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Must be able to safely and effectively deploy and use any assigned equipment for the assigned role/position
- Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time and/or able to stand and conduct foot patrols for the duration of your shift
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a security officer or in a security-related position
- Experience with special events
- Military background
- Security or law enforcement-related experience
- Experience writing statements and reports
