Job Summary
Monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a safe environment at the Toronto Waterfront Fairgrounds. Respond to incidents and emergencies professionally while delivering exceptional customer service. Complete accurate and detailed reports and collaborate with site management and emergency services. This temporary three-month contract begins in August and ends in early September. Candidates must hold a valid Ontario Security Guard License, First Aid & CPR certification, and a Smart Serve certificate. The role requires physical capability for extended standing and walking in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- First Aid & CPR Certification
- Valid Smart Serve Certification
- Reliable transportation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency (incident reporting, access control systems, email)
- Professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Physically capable of extended standing, walking, and patrol duties
- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Crowd management experience preferred
- Minimum 6 months - 1 year of security experience preferred
