Job Summary
Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution, allowing appropriate entry into venues by collecting tickets, verifying wristbands, and directing traffic. Demonstrate understanding of venue policies while initiating friendly greetings to guests, providing helpful directions, and maintaining a natural, articulate tone throughout interactions. Complete a background investigation and drug/alcohol test, and be prepared to work overtime as needed. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling under 30 hours per week for immediate hiring in Lafayette, IN.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Must successfully complete a background investigation
- Must successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
- Must pass a Driver's Record check
- Professional demeanor
- Articulate
- Ability to use good independent judgment and discretion
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Outstanding verbal communication skills
- Outstanding written communication skills
- Ability to allow appropriate entry into each venue
- Ability to collect and/or scan tickets
- Ability to verify wristbands and badges
- Ability to direct traffic coming in and out of the venue
- Understanding of the policies, procedures and regulations of different venues, facilities and events
- Ability to initiate a genuine, friendly and personal greeting to guests
- Ability to provide a sincere thank you as you complete your encounter with each guest
