Job Summary
Assist in event day preparation and execution by allowing appropriate entry, collecting tickets, and verifying wristbands. Screen guests during entry via bag searching, hand wands, or metal detectors, and direct traffic to ensure safety. Protect assets by monitoring for security breaches at checkpoints and respond quickly to crowd control issues, providing escorts for unruly guests when ejections are warranted. Deliver a positive experience by offering helpful directions and suggestions to enhance the entertainment experience. This part-time role in Syracuse, NY, offers flexible evening and weekend shifts under 30 hours per week with weekly pay starting at $18/hour. Candidates must be 18 or older with a high school diploma and successfully complete background checks and drug/alcohol testing.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- high school diploma or equivalent
- successfully complete a background investigation
- successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
- good independent judgment and discretion
- able to work overtime as needed
- outstanding oral and written communication skills
