Job Summary
Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution by allowing appropriate entry, collecting tickets, verifying wristbands, and directing traffic. Screen guests during entry via bag searching, hand wand, or metal detector while protecting assets by watching for security breaches. Respond quickly to potential crowd control issues, provide escorts for unruly guests, and offer helpful directions to enhance the entertainment experience. This part-time role in Syracuse, NY, offers flexible evening and weekend shifts under 30 hours weekly with a starting pay of $18/hour. Candidates must be 18 or older, hold a high school diploma, and complete a background investigation.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- high school diploma or equivalent
- successfully complete a background investigation
- successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
- good independent judgment and discretion
- able to work overtime as needed
- outstanding oral and written communication skills
