Job Summary
Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution for college sporting events, including checking bags, enforcing access control, and verifying wristbands and badges. Screen guests during entry via bag searching, hand wand, or metal detector while directing traffic and providing helpful directions to enhance the entertainment experience. Protect guests, staff, and venue assets by monitoring security breaches at vital checkpoints and responding quickly to crowd control issues, including escorting unruly guests when ejections are warranted. Maintain a positive guest experience through superior customer service and demonstrate an understanding of venue policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to use good independent judgment and discretion
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
