Job Summary
Solicit and secure business through a proactive, consultative sales approach to drive results and achieve revenue targets. Prepare and present quotes and proposals to customers, collaborating with vendors and departments to capture and service events. Cultivate relationships with customers and venue personnel by researching their history, attending meetings, and ensuring accurate CRM data. Maintain a healthy pipeline, support sales forecasting, and refer customers through the Encore network to secure additional opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA or 1+ years of Encore or equivalent experience
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to sit for 4-5 hours per day
- Must be able to stand for 2-3 hours per day
- Must be able to walk for 2-3 hours per day
- Must be able to stoop for 0-1 hour per day
- Must be able to crawl for 0-1 hour per day

- Must be able to work at heights via lifts and ladders
- Must be able to work in multiple hotel locations
- Must be able to work irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience
- Prior sales experience in audiovisual
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes
