Event Sales Manager

Job Summary
Visit and court potential clients, including convention groups and DMCs, to increase awareness for the district. Create proposal presentations and RFP responses while maintaining and growing the existing client list. Coordinate event details with clients post-signature, managing vendors like florists and rental companies, and conduct walk-throughs to finalize specifics. On-site day-of event coordination ensures schedule adherence, requiring travel to workshops and conventions. Maintain fiscal responsibility for rentals and supplies. Required to work weekends, late nights, and daytime hours; must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand or move within the facility safely.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in sales management and/or marketing
- hospitality industry experience
- College degree
